SPEAKER PARAMETER DATABASE
SCREEN 3 permits the user to choose a woofer for a “DESIGN” be it woofer
or
modify existing driver parameters, delete, or add speakers to
the database.
SCROLL DATABASE
Using the cursor keys, highlight SCROLL DATABASE, hit ENTER, and a window
will open up asking for the first letter(s) of the woofer you might be
looking for.
Type in a letter
for Blaupunkt for example) and the
first woofer beginning with the letter
will come up.
If several
woofers starting with
exist, the search will then look at the model
numbers following the name and arrange them in ascending order.
If you
want to just scroll up or down through the database, you can hit to
look at previous woofers, and to look at woofers in later order.

Here you can modify the Thiele/Small parameters for a woofer.
To prevent
accidental erasure or modification of the pre-installed Blaupunkt woofers,
their parameters are “hard-installed” so they are non-changeable.
To modify a wobfer, move the cursor to highlight MODIFY WOOFER and hit
ENTER.
A window will open up showing the various woofers in alphabetical
order.
Cursor left/right and up/down using the cursor arrow keys until
you highlight the desired woofer to be modified, and hit ENTER
window will open up showing the various performance

cursor keys, highlight the desired parameter, type in the desired value,
and hit ENTER. Once you have typed in all desired parameters, hit the
CONTROL and ESCAPE keys at the same time to lock in the values.
