5.2.4 Season mode setting
The unit has two season modes:
Heat recovery mode (winter mode) - the bypass damper is closed and the supply air flows through the heat exchanger. The temperature sensor
controls the bypass damper position and prevents the heat exchanger freezing this way. In case of the heat exchanger freezing danger the bypass damper
located in the supply air side is opened. The supply air flows through the bypass damper and the extract air flows through the heat exchanger and heats
and frozen heat exchanger surface. After defrosting of the heat exchanger and increase of the extract air temperature the bypass damper os closed and the
supply air flows through the heat exchanger. Operation of the bypass in opening/closing mode with 5 minutes in opened position and 25 minutes in closed
position disables freezing of the heat exchanger.
No heat recovery mode (summer mode) - the bypass damper is continuously opened.
