To prevent the RIM value-added applications from running on BlackBerry® Device Software versions earlier than 4.5, you can
block all RIM value-added applications using the Disable RIM Value-Added Applications IT policy rule, or you can block specific
RIM value-added applications using application-specific IT policy rules.

To prevent the RIM value-added applications from running on BlackBerry Device Software version 4.5 or later, you can use any
of the following application-specific methods:

Configure the Disable BlackBerry Wallet IT policy rule to Yes.

•

Apply an application control policy rule to block all third-party applications,
or apply an application control policy to block specific RIM value-added
applications if you want to remove the RIM value-added applications from

Configure the Disable RIM Value-Added Applications IT policy rule to Yes.
