The appliance can be used as a dry iron even if
there is water in the tank. Do not fill the tank
with water if the appliance is to be used as a
dry iron for an extended period.

Avoid ironing over zippers, rivets on jeans etc.
as they will scratch the soleplate.
Cleaning and maintenance &
storage
Before cleaning and maintenance, remove the
plug from the socket and allow the appliance to
cool.
Warning! Before cleaning and maintenance,
switch the appliance off, remove the plug from the
socket and allow the appliance to cool.
Warning! Do not immerse the appliance, the cord
set or the plug in water or any other liquid.

Pour out any remaining water after each use.
Only empty the appliance when it is completely
cold.

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.

Wipe scale and other residues off the soleplate
with a damp cloth.

Do not use scouring pads.

If necessary, use a mild detergent to remove
spots.

Do not use any abrasive or solvent based
cleaner.

Do not immerse the appliance in water or any
other liquid.

After use, when the appliance is cold the power
cord can be wrapped around the cord storage
(8) area at the base of the unit.

Store your appliance in a cool dry area.
