Connection for the FI cooling
Connecting this pipe is absolutely necessary. It sup-
plies the cooling plate of the frequency inverter with li-
quid refrigerant. Route the pipe downwards from a hori-
zontal pipeline section in order to ensure a bubble-free
liquid supply. See following figure, light-grey pipeline.
Additionally install a sight glass and if needed a fine fil-
ter into the line.
Connection for liquid injection (LI)
CSVH compressors may be delivered with a LI connec-
tion as an option. The LI solenoid valve is then wired
and is controlled by means of the FC. The tube
provided with a deviation from the compressor into the
FI cooling is mounted. See following figure, dark-grey
pipeline. Retrofitting, see Maintenance instructions
SW-160. For further information on the operation with
liquid injection and system design, please refer to
SH-170.

Economiser (ECO)
The ECO is available as an option. It is delivered as a
kit (valve, connecting piece, gaskets, tubes and pulsa-
tion muffler, pipe clamp and mounting sketch).

NOTICE
Risk of refrigerant loss!
Check the threads.
Screw in the adapter carefully with the required
tightening torque.
Test tightness before commissioning!
Fig. 7: Optional ECO mounting kit
Mount ECO only after the compressor has been in-
stalled. Make sure to guide the tube vertically from
above to the ECO valve. See the following figure. This
avoids oil migration and damage to components due to
hydraulic pressure peaks. Control the supplied refriger-
ant mass flow with the help of a solenoid valve directly
at the beginning of the ECO pipe. Trigger the ECO
solenoid valve via the system controller. For further in-
formation on the ECO pipe layout, see SH-170.
