Reader Settings
8.3.1 “ General ” Tab
The main purpose of the tab is to view basic information about the reader.

“Controller” section
 Name is the device name under which it will be displayed in the Biosmart-Studio software.

Serial Number is the device serial number. It ’s not changed.

Connect automatically parameter determines whether the connection with the device will
be automatically established when it appears on the network.

Firmware displays the device current firmware version.
“Additional” section

Users number is the employees number for whom access to the device is assigned.

Templates number is the number of palm vein patterns in the device's memory at the
moment.

Event logs in memory is the number of unread events in the BioSmart SmartHub memory
associated with this reader, which haven ’ t yet been transferred to the Biosmart-Studio
software at the moment

The tab is used to configure the reader parameters.
