5. When you have stopped the Chronograph Function, press and hold the
Stop/Next
button until you see the words ‘R (no.) SAVE HO LD’ in order to close the run and store
the chronograph data to the Data Mode. Note that only the lap records taken by pressing
the
Start/Lap/Hold Stop
button will be stored. If you stop the function by pressing the
Stop/Next
button, the last stop time will not be stored to the data memory.
When data has been saved, you will hear the voice announcement: “Run (no.) stored” (for
example, if you are in Run 3, it will announce “run three stored”). It will then
automatically go into Run 4.
6. To view the data stored, go to Data mode. See section [
D. Data
]
for details.
Clear Data
To clear the data for that particular run, press and hold the set button after you have
stopped the chronograph function until you see ‘R(no.) RES HOLD’
Exit Lap Chronograph
To exit the Lap Chronograph Function, press the
Mode
key at any time to go to the next
major function (the Data function). The chronograph will continue to run while you are in
other functions, if you have not stopped the chronograph. You will continue to see a
running man icon
in the upper left corner even when you are using/viewing other
functions to indicate that the chronograph is still running.
Please note that if you are using the chronograph still, or have used the chronograph but
have not saved or clear the data of your last run, you will automatically cycle back into
the Chronograph when you go into Exercise function.
You may exit this function at the initial display by pressing the
Stop/Next
button to go to
the next Exercise Function parameter and go to the Timer function.
Note:
the Lap Chronograph Function will still continue to run even if the memory is full.
The word ‘FULL’ will flash at the upper line when you try to register a lap, indication
that the lap record cannot be stored.
D. Timer
The timer function counts down time and shows the time remaining with a user preset
amount of time. You can think of it as something similar to the game clock at a football
game.
The FP402 has an advanced loop timer, which allows you to set the timer in 1-30 loops
with any number of pre-set segments up to a maximum of 30 segments in each loop,
functioning one after another. When the first segment finishes counting down, the
second segment will immediately begin to countdown. When the countdown has gone
through the pre-set number of segments in a loop, the timer will continue with the first
segment again until the pre-set number of loops is completed, at which point the timer
will stop automatically. The process will go on in this manner for a maximum of 30
loops.
