Maintenance and Cleaning
Daily Maintenance and Storage
1. For the L300 Hydrogel Electrodes reapply the covers to the hydrogel electrodes
when the L300 FS Cuff is not in use.
2. For the L300 Cloth Electrodes detach the electrodes from the electrode bases when
the L300 FS Cuff is not in use. Store the Cloth Electrodes in the mesh bag or where
they can air dry, to prevent mold growth.
3. For the L300 Quick Fit Electrodes detach the electrode from the L300 FS Cuff when
not in use. Store the Quick Fit Electrodes were they can air dry, to prevent mold growth.
4. Allow the L300 FS Cuff to air dry, when not in use.
5. Fully charge the L300 RF Stim Unit and Control Unit batteries daily.
6. Check each component for wear or damage. Replace any components that appear
old, worn, or damaged. Contact the Bioness Client Relations Department at
(800) 211-9136, Option 3 (in the United States) or your local distributor (outside the
United States) for assistance.
Charging
The L300 Control Unit and RF Stim Unit batteries should be charged daily. Charging
instructions can be found in the "Setup Instructions" chapter of this guide.
Note: The batteries must be charged before initial use, daily, and after extended storage.
Battery Replacement: L300 RF Stim Unit
The L300 RF Stim Unit has a rechargeable battery that can only be replaced by a Bioness
authorized representative. The battery should be replaced approximately every two years.
If the battery needs to be replaced, contact the Bioness Client Relations Department, at
(800) 211-9136, Option 3 (in the United States) or your local distributor (outside of the
United States).
