GC Emulation Mode Operation Procedure 

Section 1: Warm up 

1.

 

Turn on GC Emulation mode in the Setup>Measure menu. Press 

Save

 to save changes and 

exit to the main menu.  
 

 

 

2.

 

Enter the measure menu and wait for the instrument to stabilize.  

 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 

3.

 

Follow the instructions on the display and connect the inline injection port. Press 

Enter

.  

 

 
 

 
 

 

4.

 

Enable or disable the Water Chamber to increase selectivity of C

2

H

4

 measurement. Enable 

the chamber only if CO

2

 and O

2

 measurements are NOT involved. Chamber In should be 

filled at least half full with fresh distilled water. The distilled water in Chamber In should be 
replaced with fresh DI water 

every 10 injections

. Alternatively, monitor mode can be used
