MEMORY FUNCTION
The hair dryer has a speed and temperature memorization system. When the product is turned off, the last air speed and temperature settings are stored, so that when the
dryer is turned back on, it automatically goes back to those saved settings. However, if the dryer is disconnected from the outlet, the factory setting will be restored.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The SMART-X™ High Efficiency Dryer has a unique filter with micro-perforation, specially designed to filter even the smallest particles of dirt and impurities from the air.
By preventing particles from getting into the motor or hair, it both increases the life of the motor and protects the hair and scalp from dirt – making hair look healthier
and increasing its natural shine. Therefore, daily cleaning of the filter is essential to maintain proper functioning and long life of the motor. Proper cleaning is absolutely
necessary to optimize the function of the filter and thus protect the motor.
AUTO-CLEANING FUNCTION
Auto-Alert Light: When the dryer must be cleaned with auto-clean function, all three Speed lights will be flashing for 5 seconds simultaneously. During this,
no operations or settings can be completed. In 6 seconds, it will go to the last setting per the memory function and dryer functions as normal.
After the user completes the auto-clean, the dryer will be powered off, then recalculate until cleaning is necessary again.
How to Auto-Clean:
Plug in the hair dryer and hold down the “Speed lower” button for approximately 10 seconds. This will engage the auto-clean function.
This function will automatically switch off after 15 seconds.
STYLING TIPS
The SMART-X™High Efficiency Dryer has an exceptional air flow and pressure, therefore we recommend a unique drying setting during styling to ensure hair protection
and to optimize the performance of the hair dryer. The recommended drying setting for all hair types is the 2nd temperature level, while for more fine hair, the 1st is
recommended.
MICRO-PERFORATED METAL FILTER’S CORRECT CLEANING PROCESS
This process consists of two easy steps: Manual Cleaning and Auto-Cleaning Function.
MANUAL CLEANING
1. Carefully remove the external back filter by gently pressing and pulling backwards.
(Fig. 5)
2. Clean the metal filter by using provided filter cleaning brush and then finish with a clean
cloth, making sure that any dirt that is lodged in the filter is removed. We highly recommend
moistening the cloth with isopropyl alcohol, which acts as a degreaser and removes any
possible residues. This helps to ensure consistent performance and longevity.
For professional users, the manual cleaning process must be done daily.
For domestic use, it can be done weekly.
CAUTION
The accumulation of dirt due to improper cleaning of the filter can affect the performance of the hair dryer.
