To turn off the fan heater, completely turn off the heating element (1000W switches); let the fan
run for about 3 minutes to cool the heating element (and extend its life), then turn off the fan
with the 0/I switch.

If the heater will be unused for long periods of time, remove the plug from the outlet.
7)
In the case that the heater is accidentally knocked over, the safety switch in the base will turn off
the device: reposition the fan heater and it will resume normal operation.
mod.S226 (PTC fan heater with electronic d remote control)
The appliance is equipped with controls for start-up, power adjustment, (1000W ”LOW” and 2000W
“HIGH”), room temperature (15°-30°C) “AUTO”, and oscillation “
” (about 90° rotation,
alternately to right and left); these functions are controlled by pressing the buttons on the control
panel or the remote control. The remote control must be directed towards the display next to the
switches, after having inserted the batteries required (open the rear slot cover and insert 2 “AAA”
type batteries, taking care to respect the correct polarity. Close the slot cover again).
The fan heater instructions are as follows:
1)
Insert the plug in the wall socket: the led above the control panel will light up to show that the
heater is connected to the main line.
2)
Turn the “
” switch (on the panel or the remote control), to start up the fan.
3)
Select the required function, by pressing the “
” button several times (on the panel or the remote
control); each time the button is pressed the display will light up the required function (FAN-
LOW-HIGH-AUTO) and show the current room temperature. (room temp).
4)
The room temperature can be adjusted between 15° and 30°C by using the (AUTO) function; (
)
to increase the desired temperature and the (
) to decrease the desired temperature.

To obtain the oscillation function, press the “
“ button (on the panel or the remote control).
Timer: this function allows setting the operating time and the fan will automatically stop at the end.
To set the operating time, repeatedly press the “
” key on the remote control or the control panel:
every time the key is pressed, the time set is changed and the indicator light on the control panel lights
corresponding to the time selected (1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours): the maximum time is 8 hours.
To deactivate the time, set the maximum time and then press “
” again (the corresponding
indicators go off).

When switching off the appliance, leave the fan (FAN) running for about 3 minutes after heating
switch-off to cool down the heat element (this will provide longer element life), and then switch off
the appliance completely using the “
” switch (on the panel or the remote control).

When the appliance is not in use for long periods, remove the plug from the wall socket.
8)
If the fan heater is hit accidentally causing it to fall over, the safety switch on the appliance base
will switch off the heater automatically: by replacing the heater in its correct position it will
automatically begin normal function again.
