Test procedures

To test terminal operation, use

to access start-up and follow this path:

3.7.1

Terminal Test/Serial ports

With RS232 connect the TX signal with RX and the CTS signal with RTS.
With RS422 connect the TX+ signal with RX+, the TX- signal with RX-. (See drawings in the user
manual, in the Delivery and installation chapter)

3.7.2

Terminal Test/Input-Output

Just like the serial test, it is necessary to prepare blind mate connectors where the outputs close the
same number of matching inputs.
For example, connect input 01 with output 01. For these connections, refer to the user manual,
specifically the chapter on Delivery and installation and the Options chapter.

3.7.3

Terminal Test/Keyboard

Follow the instructions on the display

3.7.4

Terminal Test/Terminal configuration report

If a port for the printer has been enabled from the designated menu, the overall configuration for the
terminal will be printed on the selected port. If no port has been enabled, connect a printer and a PC
to the COM1 serial port with fixed configuration 9600,8,N,1.
The overall terminal configuration will be sent to it.
