For kneading, rising and baking
sweet bread . You may also add ingredients to

For kneading, rising and bak-
ing, but rising with soda or baking powder .

(jam):
For boiling jams and mar-
malades . The mixture is stirred throughout the
cooking process . Fruits or vegetables must be
chopped before putting them in the bread pan .

(dough):
For kneading and rising, but
without baking . Remove the dough and use to
make bread rolls, pizza, steamed bread, etc .
9. ulTrasChNell
(ultra fast):
For kneading, ris-
ing and baking loaves quickly; produces bread
with a dense texture .
10. BaCkeN
(bake):
For baking only, no kneading
or rising . Also used to increase the baking time for
selected programs .

Press this button to select the size of the bread:
700 g or 1000 g . When you select the desired size,
the LCD (14) will display this size . Please note the
program time may vary depending on the size
of the loaf .
This button is only applicable for the follow-
ing programs: 1 . NORMAL
(basic),
2 . VOLLKORN
(whole wheat),
3 . FRANZÖSISCH
(french),
5 . SÜSS
(sweet)
and 9 . ULTRASCHNELL
(ultra fast).
lICHt (light)
Press the button once to turn on the lamp and
monitor the baking process .
Press the button again to turn off the light . The
light switches off automatically if you do not
press the button within one minute .
ZEIt (time)
Use this button to set a later start time for the bak-
ing program .
To set the delay time:
1. Select your program (13), loaf size (14) and
crust colour (17) .
2. Set the delay time by pressing the ZEIT
(time)
button . The delay time should include the op-
eration time for the selected program .
Example: It is 8:30 pm and you want the bread
to be ready to serve at 7:00 am on the next day .
You should set the delay time to 10 hours and
30 minutes by pressing the ZEIT
(time)
button
until 10:30 appear on the display (16) . The in-
crement for each press is 10 minutes .
3. Press the START / STOPP
(start / stop)
button to
activate this delay program . The colon in the
time indicator will blink, and the LCD will count
down the remaining time .
NotE: The maximum delay time is 13 hours . Do
not use any perishable ingredients (e .g . eggs,
fresh milk, fruits, onions) when using the delay
feature .
PRoZESS (cycle)
Use this button to set up your own baking program
for number – HAUSGEMACHT
(homemade)

PAuSE (pause)
When the program is running, you can press the
PAUSE
(pause)
button for approximately 1 .5 sec-
onds at any time to interrupt the baking process .
The program will be paused, but the setting will
be memorized, and the remaining time will flash
on the LCD .
Press the PAUSE
(pause)
button again to resume
the program .
KEEP WARM
Bread can be automatically kept warm for 1 hour
after baking . During this warming time, “WARM-
HALTEN” (15) will be shown on diplay . If you would
like to remove the bread, switch the program off by
pressing the START / STOPP
(start / stop)
button .
MEMoRY
If the power supply is interrupted while the pro-
gram is running, bread-making program will
resume automatically within 10 minutes, even
without pressing the START / STOPP
(start / stop)
button .
If the interruption time exceeds 10 minutes, the
program will not resume, and you must discard
the ingredients in the bread pan and add the in-
gredients again before restarting the program .
However, if the dough has not entered the rising
phase when the power supply is interrupted, you
can press the START / STOPP
(start / stop)
button
when the power comes back on to repeat the
program from the beginning .
ENVIRoNMENt
The machine can function effectively in a wide
range of temperatures, but temperature differ-
ences may cause variations in the loaf size . We rec-
ommend a room temperature between 15-34°C .
WARNING DISPlAY
If the display (16) shows “H HH” after the pro-
gram has been started, the temperature inside
is too high . The program must be stopped .
Then open the lid and let the machine cool
down for 10 to 20 minutes .
If the display (16) shows “E E0” or “E E1” after
you press START / STOPP
(start / stop)
, the tem-
perature sensor is malfunctioning . Please have
the sensor checked by a qualified technician .
