9. Troubleshooting
The coffee maker does
not heat up.
The system does not
warn when the used
capsule drawer is full.
The coffee maker does
not dispense coffee.
The coffee is cold.
The coffee maker makes
too much noise.
Coffee is dispensed
slowly.
The coffee maker is
beeping / the LED is
blinking.
The used capsule has
not been ejected.
A) The coffee maker is not
connected to the electric mains.
B) The coffee maker is not
on.
L) The drawer has been
removed but not emptied
and the counting system
is reset.
C) The door is not closed
correctly.
D) The capsule is stuck.
E) The used capsule drawer
is full or it has not been
completely inserted.
F) There is no water in the
reservoir.
G) The ducts are clogged
with lime scale.
H) The coffee maker has not
heated the water completely
before dispensing the beverage.
I) The cup is cold.
J) The boiler is partly clogged
with lime scale.
M) There is no water in the
reservoir.
K) Dispensing velocity depends
on the variety of coffee that is
being used.
N) The door is not closed
properly.
O) The capsule drawer is not
inserted correctly.
P) The capsule is stuck to the
gasket.
A) Connect the coffee maker
to the socket
B) Turn the coffee maker on
by pressing the on/off button.
L) If the system allows so,
remove the drawer and
empty it. If the capsule is
stuck, turn the coffee maker
off and then back on
to run a new verifi cation
cycle. Contact the nearest
service centre if the coffee
maker does not expel the
capsule this way.
C) Close the door

E) Empty the drawer and
make sure it is inserted
properly.
F) Fill the reservoir up.
G) Run a descaling cycle.
H) Wait for the touch-sensitive
button LED to turn green before
inserting a capsule.

J) Run a descaling cycle.
M) Fill the reservoir up.
K) Try with another capsule
or, if necessary, run a descaling
cycle. If it does not solve the
problem, contact the nearest
service centre.
N) Ensure that the door is
closed properly.
O) Insert the used capsule
drawer correctly, pushing it
down to the bottom of its
housing.
P) Repeat the brewing /
expulsion cycle; should it
not be successful, extract
the capsule with a pair of
tweezers.
