SECTION 4 - COMPUTER CONSOLE DESCRIPTIONS
NOTE: To turn on the display from SLEEP MODE, press any button or begin pedaling.
You can then set up a new program or start a previous workout from where you left off.
There is no ON/OFF button. You will hear a confirmation “Beep” when you press any key.
A. START/STOP -
Press the START/STOP button to begin your workout. If you press this
button while the timer is running, it will go to PAUSE MODE.
B. RECOVERY -
At the end of the workout, immediately press the
Recovery
button while
continuing to hold the contact heart rate bars or using the chest strap (Not both at the same
time). The TIME display will count down from 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, the computer
will calculate and provide a fitness rating of 1 to 6, 1 being the best.
C. MINUS - and PLUS + -
Press these buttons to change the current value.
D. RESET -
With the timer stopped (Pause Mode)
press and hold this button for 3-4 seconds
to reset to START MODE.
E. ENTER -
Press this button to confirm the set value and enter the next setting.
F. CONSOLE LCD WINDOW -
This window displays all information for programming the
X5 including the program profiles and resistance level bars. It also displays the following
information: RPM, SPEED, TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES, WATT, and PULSE (HEART
RATE).
RPM:
Pedal revolutions per minute.
SPEED:
The speed you are traveling in miles per hour.
TIME:
The amount of time you have been working out (Count Up) or the time remaining in
your workout (Count Down).
NOTE:
Models sold in the United States display the DISTANCE in “Miles” not “Kilometers”.
DISTANCE:
The distance in miles that you have traveled during your workout.
CALORIES:
The number of calories burned during your workout.
WATT:
The International System unit of power measurement. One watt is roughly equal to
4.2 calories per hour or 6 kilogram-meters per minute.
PULSE (HEART RATE):
Your heart rate in beats per minute.
