room. This device is equipped with a terminal
in order to connect an external conductor with
nominal section in compliance with current leg-
islations.
5 – USE OF MACHINE
5.1 Start up of machine and loading
of water inside boiler
(Fig. 06)
Open the water shut-off valve.
Bring the lever of the omnipolar switch belonging
to the electric system on ON.
When the switch (fig. 06; pos 1) is brought in po-
sition 1, the water is loaded inside the boiler; af-
ter 120 seconds of loading, the machine goes in
alarm status; bring the switch in 0 position and re-
peat the operation by pressing the same switch a
few times, until the pump has completely loaded
the boiler and shuts off.
Once the minimum level has been reached, the
red light (Fig. 06; pos 4) will turn off and by bring-
ing the switch in \/\/\ position, the yellow light will
turn on (Fig. 06; pos 3).
N.B.: It is suggested not to bring the
switch in \/\/\ position when the red
light is on.
Wait that the boiler’s pressure gauge (Fig. 01;
pos 9) indicates a pressure between 1 and 1.2
bar (0.1 – 0.12 MPa) prior to use the machine.
5.2 Heating
(Fig. 06)
To make sure that the machine has reached the
right thermal balance between temperature and
pressure, when the boiler’s gauge indicates a
pressure between 1 and 1.2 bar (0.1 – 0.12
MPa), press the steam tap (Fig. 01; pos 7) and
exhaust the steam 2 or 3 times in the discharge
basin.
The green light (fig. 06; pos 2) indicates that the
machine is on.
The red light (fig. 06; pos 4) warns about the in-
sufficient water level inside the boiler.
The yellow light (fig. 06; pos 3) signals the ena-
bling of the resistor.
Warning:
when the red light (fig. 06; pos 4) is on, a safety
device does not allow the machine to work; con-
tact the technical assistance service.
5.3 Preparation of coffee
(Fig. 07)
Warnings:
- Do not remove the filter holder when the de-
vice is on: burning hazard.
- Do not touch directly the metal part of the filter
holder and group: burning hazard.
- The standard doses for the filters are 6/8 grams
for a dose and 12 grams for two doses.
ELLISSE PM
(Fig. 07-A)
1) Remove the filter holder from the supply
group.
2) Load the filter holder with ground coffee, press
the coffee paying attention not to dirty the bor-
der of the filter holder.
3) Hook back the filter holder in its location.
4) Press Key ON/OFF (Fig. 07 – A pos. a) to
stop output once the wanted dose has been
reached.
ELLISSE DE

1) Remove the filter holder from the supply
group.
2) Load the filter holder with ground coffee, press
the coffee paying attention not to dirty the bor-
der of the filter holder.
3) Hook back the filter holder in its location.
4) Act on the coffee supply command, by press-
ing one of the keys (Fig. 07-B), based on the
dose to supply.
To change the programming of doses, follow the
instructions indicated in paragraph 5.7 of this
booklet.
The machine is also conceived for continuous
output:
1) start the output by pressing the continuous out-
