25. SERVICING THE MACHINE
If problems occur during operation, turn the key switch to OFF, engage the park-
ing brake by moving the lever to the left, and disconnect the battery connection
to the machine. This will disable all moving parts on the unit. To resume work
once the problem has been resolved, reconnect the battery connection to the
machine, turn the key switch to ON, and release the parking brake lever. The
machine will not start unless the operator is properly seated.
26. OPERATING BRAKE AND PARKING BRAKE
• The machine has an electronic braking system. To brake in normal condi-
tions, simply remove your foot from the accelerator pedal and the machine
will stop.
• In extreme cases, it may be necessary to activate the manual brake pedal (

by pushing it downward. Be sure to release your foot from the accelerator
pedal when pushing the manual brake.
• To engage the parking brake, press down the manual brake pedal (

) and
lock it using the lever (

) behind the steering column. To lock the manual
brake, pull the lever to the left until it locks into place.
27. SAFETY STROBE LIGHT (OPTIONAL)
The machine can be equipped with a flashing light that turns on automatically
when the main key switch is turned to the ON position.
