This will cause the water coming from
the pre-filters to go directly into the
drain . This is necessary to remove the
manufacturing film that is present on
the pre-filters. After the 5 minutes , close
the flush valve again.
Slide the filter unit back into the system
and close the maintenance door .
This completes the semi-annual filter
change and you can operate the unit
normally.
Remove the old 20 µm prefilter cart-
ridge and insert a new 20 µm pre-filter
cartridge. Turn the cartridge finger-tight
into the right filter head.
When the filter is changed, you can open
the flush valve .
Then open the angle valve (the water
inlet) and let the water run through the
system into the drain for about five
minutes .
Maintaining the BestWater System
Open the water supply at the corner valve
Push in the filter unit
Close flushing valve
Open the flush valve
Pull out the filter unit
Change 20µm sediment prefilter cartridge
