Electrical  Connection

Connection of Extension Unit EXA – Option

The extension unit EXA is to be installed on top of the CSDA. 
•  Move the factory-set jumpers on TB8/CSDA to TB9/EXA.
• Connect 

the 

fl at cable to TB8 on the CSDA. 

•  Snap on the EXA to the CSDA.

 

1) 

The terminal TB1:4 on the basic control unit CSDA 

is changed to lock opening impulse in all program 
selector settings when the extension unit EXA is 
installed. An impulse will open the lock and the 
door must be manually opened. 

 

“Useful for apartment buzzing-in applications”.

2) 

Remove program jumper B1 when connecting to 

terminal No. 7.

3) 

Remove program jumper B2 when connecting to 

terminal No. 8.

4)  These terminals will not be 0 V DC when ”kill” 

(terminals Nos. 1-2) on the CSDA is activated.
