- Important recommendations:

 

- It is preferable to carry out drainage when the sprayer has just been in operation. The oil is more fluid 

and flows more easily.

 

- To grease a point equipped with a lubricating nipple, clean the latter first.

 

- For components not equipped with lubricating nipples, remove the used grease.

 

- We recommend that you always use the same oil and grease.

 

- When lubricating the PTO shaft, take care to comply with the manufacturer’s instructions.

CHECK THE PUMP OIL LEVEL

- bP 60/20 pump

 (figure 43)

 

- Through the level plug (1).

 

  If there is not enough oil, remove the stirrups (2), the bell assembly (3) and the plug (4).

 

  The oil must be flush with the bottom edge of the sump hole.

 

- Oil capacity for a bP 60/20 pump = 0.40 litre.

- bP 105/20 pump

 (figure 44)

 

- The level must reach the notch on the gauge (2).

 

  If there is a lack of oil, withdraw the rubber stopper (1) and top up.

 

- Empty the oil:

 

  Withdraw the stopper (1) and tip the pump over.

 

- Oil capacity for a bP 105/20 pump = 0.50 litre.

LUbRICATION AND GREASING

Change the oil during each 

spraying campaign

We recommend SAE 30 oil

2-litre can, bERTHOUD reference 769.286

Grease MObILUX EP2 or ELF EPEXA 2

- Grease all the points equipped with a grease nipple (universal joint, hubs, etc.)
