Configure Plausibility

Starting from the main menu, go to the display shown on the
left via:
| SETUP | CONFIGURATION | PLAUSIBILITY | PHASE MEAS-
URE |

The display on the left shows the default settings, which may
have to be entered.

During normal measurement operation,

Sigma

lies between

0 to 100. Therefore, Sigma

max

= 100 is a good choice for

most applications. However, if you constantly get sigma val-
ues up to 300 during the measurement, you may increase
the limit up to 500. Higher sigma values than that usually in-
dicate a fault, such as continuous air bubbles which have to
be eliminated.

For most applications, the

Phi/att ratio

is not known; there-

fore, it has to be determined once. For this, you need the Au-
to setting, which otherwise must always be set to OFF.
The exact procedure is described in

chapter 9.1.
