Description
The following illustrations show the way the
possible operating modes work. The devices
used are shown as symbols. The illustrations
are meant to serve as a guide. The illustrated
device's shape may differ from your device.
With this device you can suck in and clean cooking
vapours.
Possible operating modes
The device can work in different operating modes:
•
Recirculated air mode
•
Extracted air mode
•
Hybrid mode
The individual operating modes are described in the
next sections.
Recirculated air mode
The device draws in the air from the room, filters it
and passes the cleaned air back into the room.
This cleaning is done in several cleaning steps. The
majority of the dirt particles, like grease and oil
particles for example, are collected from the air
drawn in from the room in the lower grease tray.
The filter filling in the recirculated air filter
neutralises any smelly odours present. The odour-
free, cleaned room air is fed back into the room.
The filter filling needs to be regularly replaced.
Extracted air mode
The device draws in the air from the room, filters it
and passes the cleaned air to the outside of the
building. This cleaning is done in several cleaning
steps. The first cleaning step removes grease and
oil particles, for example, from the air drawn in from
the room. The next cleaning step removes light,
airborne particles (e.g. fluff) from the air drawn in
from the room. The cleaned air is discharged
outside.
