Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting

DANGER

Fatal electrical shock caused by
improperly carried out repairs.

Ensure that all repair work are
carried out by the manufacturer or by
authorised trained specialists.

Fault

Possible cause

Remedy

No power supply.

Check that the power plug is plugged in.

Plug in the power plug.

Fan and lighting do
not work.

The fuse may have been tripped or is
defective.

Check to see if the fuse has tripped.

When you use electric circuit breakers,
turn the circuit breaker on again.

For other types of fuse, consult a
qualified electrician.

The extractor hood is not switched on.

Check all possible power levels.

See Page 15.

The fan does not
work.

The extractor hood is connected to a
window contact switch and the window is
closed.

Open the window.

The lighting does
not work.

The bulb has blown.

Please consult your berbel dealer.

Smells occur
during operation.

The hybrid filter-filling is used up.

Change the hybrid filter-filling.

See Changing the filter filling (hybrid and
re-circulated air filter) on page 27.
