Before you use the universal remote control to your device what was you want to con-
trol, it must first be programmed (set-up). Please read this guide carefully to make sure
the setup is done properly and please make sure the information as below:
• You point your universal remote control at the infrared part of your device.
• Ensure there is nothing blocking the infrared receiver on your device.
• Do not leave flat batteries in your universal remote control, as they could leak and
void your warranty.
• Always replace the batteries at the same time, do not mix the old and new batteries
or mix different battery types.
• When you throw away old batteries, make sure they done in due consideration with
the environment. Please consult your local council or recycle department, for nearest
collection point.
• Do not drop or throw your universal remote control, as you may damage the unit and
the circuitry inside.
• Do not let the remote control come into contact with any liquids.
• Use a dry cloth to clean your universal remote control to make your remote control
last longer.
INSTALLING REPLACING BATTERIES
Install two (2) new “AAA” batteries as indicated by the diagram in the battery compart-
ment.
When the batteries become low and need to be replaced, please replace the batteries
following these steps as blew:
a) Push the catch on the battery cover upwards and pull the back cover off the main
part.
b) Carefully remove the old batteries then insert the new batteries, matching the + and
– signs.
c) Once the batteries are in, put the cover back on, making sure the catch clicks into
place.
PROGRAMMING THE REMOTE CONTROL TO CONTROL YOUR MORE DEVICES
CODE-ENTRY PROGRAMMING
Checking and look up the band for your TV in the Device Brand Code List section and
note the four-digit code.
1. Turn on all the electronic devices (such as TV, DVD, VCR, SAT…) you want to pro-
gram the remote to operate.
2. Press and hold the device button and [Power] key and keep about 3 seconds until
the device’s LED indicator lights up.
3. Follow the sequence to enter the four-digit code that you noted from the Device
Brand Code List.
4. If the code is correct, the LED indicator will be turned off and you can use this remote
to control your device now. If the code number is not in the list, the LED indicator will
flash twice then keep on light, so please go back to the step 3 and program again.
5. After LED indicator turned off, check other keys such as [CH+], [CH-], [1], [2], [Power]
keys of can control your device. If can not control, please go back to step 2. Please
enter the other four-digit code continuously.
NOTE:
1. If it has not been pressed any button during 30 seconds, the device button will blink
twice and turn off and go out.
2. When enter four-digit codes, only number keypad can be used. In this feature, when
press [Select] or any devices button, the device button will blink twice and turn off and
go out.
