The Event log ger
The Event log ger is set up as fol lows:

the Event num ber (

) is shown on the left side of
the first line;

the Event de ta ils (

) are shown on the se cond line.
Using the Event Log ger:

to scroll the Events.

to view the Event de ta ils (see abo ve).

to step back to the
Event Log ger
menu.

The di splay will show the de ta ils of each Event. For exam -
ple, Tam per Events show the TYPE and TIME only.
Zone status
This op tion will al low you to view the sta tus of the zo nes
(Standby, Alarm, Tam
per, Short-cir
cu it or Bypas sed,
and also the Zone vol ta ge le vel). This op tion is im por -
tant du ring in stal la tion and pla ce ment tests.

To view the Zone sta tus, work ca re fully thro ugh the fol -
lo wing steps.

This op tion will al low you to test all the par ti tion zo nes
wit ho ut ge ne ra ting alarms. The Test event will be re cor -
ded in the event log ger as: <Alarm - Zone un der test>.
The fol lo wing events may also be re cor ded in the log -
ger: key pad buz zer or ac ti va tion of Out put 1; or key pad
buz zer+ac ti va tion of Out put 1.
