ISO sensitivity
The higher the ISO value, the more noise you may see in the image.
To select an ISO value:
1. Tap
and the icon that represents the current ISO value.
2. Tap another icon of your choice.
3. Tap
to confirm and exit.
Metering (Automatic exposure metering)
To select an AE option:
1. Tap .
2. Tap

then .
3. Tap

Icon
Description
Automatically sets the ISO value.
Equivalent to color ISO 100/200/400 film. Used for outdoor
photography in bright sunlight.
Equivalent to color ISO 800/1600/3200 film (ISO 3200 for
images at 3 megapixels or lower). Used it in a low-light
environment or where the flash light is not allowed.
You may not be able to select the ISO value if you use certain scene modes, such as
(Auto) and
(High ISO Portrait).

Matrix
Detects the exposure based on multiple points in
the subject area.
Center Weight
Detects the exposure of the entire shooting
screen, but gives more importance to the values
near the center.
Spot
Detects the exposure based on the center spot in
the subject area.
