11. BATTERY CHARGING
Recharge the battery in accordance with the following
instructions before using your power tool.
1. Connect the battery charger power cord to the
socket.
The indicator light will flash red (at 1-second inter-
vals) after connecting the power cord to the battery
charger.
2. Insert the battery into the battery charger.
Insert the battery firmly into the battery charger as
shown in figure 3.
3. Charging.
The charge indicator light will flash blue when a
battery is inserted into the charger. The charge in-
dicator light will turn green when the battery is fully
charged. (See Table 3.)

The charge indicator light indications are shown
in Table 3, according to the status of the battery
charger or rechargeable battery.
• Information on temperatures and charging time
for the battery.
The temperature and charging times will be as
shown in Table 4.
NOTE
Charging time may vary depending on the ambient
temperature and mains voltage.
CAUTION
The battery charger will become hot and may be the
cause of a fault if it is used continuously for exten-
ded periods of time. After a charge is complete, al-
low the battery charger to rest for 15 minutes before
the next charge.
4. Unplug the battery charger from the socket.
5. Grasp the charger firmly and pull the battery out
of the charger.
