Cable Distances

Volt drop along the 12V DC + and – power connections is the limiting factor. Where
needed these are increased to 1mm

. Please check the table below.

Phones may need either larger power cores or doubling up depending on the distance
involved. E.g. when using 4 pair cable (8 cores) instead of 3 pair cable (6 cores), the
distances would be double those indicated for 6 cores below.
