3. Locate the paper jam and observe the location of the leading edge of the jammed

sheet.

4. Remove the jammed sheet or sheets up and through the feeder and inspect the steel

trays for debris that might have caused the jam.

CAUTION:

Do not use sharp objects when clearing document jams

NOTE:

If you cannot clear the jam, contact your service representative. Please refer to the

3. Close the transport firmly.

4. Press the operator control panel CLEAR button to reset the scanner and clear any

application error.
