If under-dosed, disinfecting effect of the chemicals cannot be warranted. Disinfect-
ing power is no longer assured which may lead to subjecting patients to health
risks.
In case of overdosing, endoscope materials may be harmed by the chemicals. A
defective endoscope may endanger the health of the patients.
!WARNING!
When replenishing detergents and disinfecting additives, eyes, hands and clothing must be pro-
tected. Wear gloves when handling and do not ingest additives. Avoid eye and skin contact!
6.2 Door Locking

Program Selection
Cause:
If during a program cycle the program is interrupted by pushing the I/O button and is reset, the door remains
locked nevertheless. Instead of „Program ready“, display shows „Door lock „.
This is a precaution for the user. In case of malfunction (e.g. if wash pump cannot be shut off), door must
remain locked.
Remedy:
Upon successful completion of program run, the door can be opened by ON-OFF operation of the main
switch.
6.3 Sensor Difference
Display
Sensor Difference
is too large
Cause:
The difference between monitoring sensor and control sensor is too wide (greater than ± 2°C). Interrogation
is active only during water steps. A new program
may
be activated.
Remedy:
Start a program again. In case of repeated occurrence, check temperature sensors. The defective sensor
must be replaced. Contact Tech Service. Observe the temperature prior to sensor replacement.
6.4 Maintenance Prompt, Maintenance Frequency
!Periodical Service!
Cause:
When reaching the predetermined number of batches processed, display shows „Batch number “ or „Operat-
ing hours blower “, display shows „Periodical Service“, instead of “Program ready”. This does not preclude
continued operation of the automat.
