Grounding the device

The device variants have a connection for protective grounding.
Proceed as follows:



Ground the device via the ground screw.
You find the prescribed tightening torque in chapter:

“General technical data” on page 74

Note:

Applies to device variants featuring supply voltage characteristic

value P:
With redundant power supply with 2 power supply modules GPS3-P
(supply voltage characteristic value P): The use of power sources with a
grounded positive power supply conductor is prohibited.
