Assign Source/Destination to BPX Buttons
This section continues on from Button Example 4 - BPX Panel Mode, LCD Panel , on
page 179, to assign source/destination ports to the BPX crosspoint selection buttons.
The example is set up for a 10x24 router, with 24 sources and 10 destinations.
Preliminaries
In the BPX Mapping template:
1 Set Number of Pages to ‘10’.
2 Select Single BPX Dest per page in the BPX Single Destination Options template
pane.
This set up the assignment to use the same destination for each BPX button on a page.
(I.e. a crosspoint page per destination.)
Assign BPX Crosspoint Pages
In the BPX Mapping template, to assign for page 1:
3 Set Page In View to ‘1’.

This shows crosspoint page 1.
In the Button Configuration section,

to configure BPX buttons for the first page of crosspoints:
4 Set Button Focus at the first BPX button, row 1 button 1.

BPX buttons will be filled in from this point forwards, within the confines of the current
page.
5 Set Destination to ‘V1’, the first item in the Destination drop-down list.
6 Set Source to ‘V1’, the first item in the Source drop-down list.
In the AutoFill section:
7 Set Number to Fill to ‘24’.
8 Set Type to ‘Source(increment)’.
9 Click Fill ! .
The BPX buttons in the panel button map are populated with:
• the same destination (V1); and
• an incrementing source (V1 to V24).

10 Set Page In View to ‘2’.
11 Re-position Button Focus at row 1 button 1.

BPX buttons will be filled in from this point forwards for crosspoint page 2.
12 Set Destination to ‘V2’, the next item in the Destination drop-down list.
13 Set Source to ‘V1’, the first item in the Source drop-down list.
14 Click Fill ! .
