Installation 

Photo Eye Tunnel Placement 

There are two types of Photo Eyes available. The original 

Floor Mounted

 and the optional 

Wall 

mounted

.  Both  styles  are  wired  the  same,  but  they  have  different  variables  to  consider  for 

positioning. 

DO NOT secure Photo Eyes into place until you have read this entire manual. 

The  following  shows  basic  placement  of  both  styles.  The  remaining  pages  will  show  mostly 
Floor mounted since both styles are similarly positioned. 

Floor Mounted 

 

 

 

 

Once mounted, the Photo Eyes are to be pivoted to 
point directly at each other

Photo Eyes are typically mounted with an approximate offset of 36

 (91.4 cm). 

They can be mounted with a minimum offset of 

6”

 (15.2 cm) up to a maximum
