Maintenance

Drive Belt Replacement and Tightening

NOTE:

For steps 1 to 3, see the images below.

1) At the MCC, turn off the systems Main Disconnect and lock it out.

2) Remove the belt guard.

3) Loosen the 4 bolts on the motor support. There are two bolts on the pivot side (

A1 and A2

) and two

bolts on the adjustment side (

B1 and B2

NOTE:

For steps 4 and 5, see the image below.

4) Loosen the adjustment Jam Nut (

5) To replace the belts, lower the adjustment screw (D) with one wrench while holding nut (E) with

another wrench.
