Maintenance
Routine Procedures
Daily
•
Start every wash day with a “Test Wash” to insure proper operation of all equipment.
•
Inspect the pressure gauge on the unloader valve.
The pressure should be within 50 psi of the original setting.
If the pressure is too high, verify that all nozzles are clean and free of debris in the orifices.
If the pressure is too low, check all nozzles for wear and check for any leaks around nozzles or
hoses.
•
Verify that all nozzles are clean and free of debris in the orifice.
•
Check all hoses for leaks.
•
Verify the operation of the float valve.
•
Remove any large debris or objects that may constrict or block the inlet screen from the holding tank.
Weekly
•
Check belt tension.
•
Check whether the belts are worn or have a tendency to slip. Replace belts (Belanger® Part No.
1BELT595 for the 10 HP Pump Station and 1BELT598 for the 15 HP Pump Station) as necessary.
•
Check the holding tank for any sediment or contaminants. If too much sediment is evident, drain tank
and clean.
Monthly
•
Check oil level. Change or fill as necessary.
•
Drain and wipe down the interior of the holding tank.
•
Verify that all fasteners and ground lags are still tight. Retighten any fasteners as necessary.
