6 Maintenance/Repair
• Check the heat exchanger and its connections for their tightness one a week.
6.1
Hibernation of the WWT in Frost-proof Rooms
Intervention in technical systems by unqualified persons might lead to injury or
damage.
For hibernation in frost-proof rooms, the heat exchanger must be completely filled
with water.
6.2
Hibernation of the WWT in Non Frost-proof Rooms
Expert hibernation without frost damage is possible if the following steps are
observed:
• Close blocking units in both water cycles.
• Drain heat exchanger and adjoining pipes until blocking units.
6.2.1 Heat Exchanger with Vertical Layout
• Drain heat exchanger completely via drain fittings.
6.2.2 Heat Exchanger with Horizontal Layout
• Remove heat exchanger with horizontal layout.

Stainless Steel Maintenance
Conditions for the maintenance of atsinless steel when it’s used
1. The pool water should be maintaines at an adequate filtration cycle and optimum
cleanliness in strict accordance with the manufacturers instructions regarding
chemical dosage (pH, chlorine concentration, salts, etc.).
2. Chemical products should always be added to the pool keeping well away from
any stainless steel elements so as to avoid high concentrations and stain produ-
ced by splashes.
3. Avoid deposits of dust, salt, concrete and dirt as contact with other metals (espe-
cially iron) as these factors will increase the risk of corrosion.
4. During the initial cleaning of the pool shell (before filling) and for subsequent
cleans, remove all stainless steel elements to avoid contact with cleaning
products. Any stainless steel part that cannot be removed should be washed
thoroughly with plenty of water.
