AUTO-TEST modes
There are two AUTO-TEST modes:

STANDARD mode
This mode is advised to be used when operator is starting with AUTO tests
in generally in order to easily follow the AUTO test procedure step by
step. Each new measurement has to be started with START button. Once
the operator is familiar with AUTO tests, FAST mode is advised to be used.

FAST mode
This mode enables the operator to carry out AUTO tests quickly. The
whole AUTO test procedure will be carried out automatically. It is
important wiring for all test steps to be done before starting the AUTO
test.
How to select AUTO-TEST mode?
See the description on page 50 under paragraph AUTO-TEST MODE.
AUTO test procedure:

Select AUTO Test function by using the rotary switch (6), idle display will
appear.

Select appropriate AUTO Test by using the “A
” and
“A
” menu keys.

Connect the appliance and test leads as required by the first test, e.g. R
PE
(see the instructions for individual tests).

Press the START key, visual inspection will be required.

Do the visual inspection (see the section “Visual Inspection”). If the visual
test passes, confirm the action by pressing the “OK” menu key, then the
next test is offered e.g. R
PE
.

Connect test lead to accessible conductive part and press the “START” key,
measurement is carried out and test result is displayed. Next measurement
e.g. R
ISO
is offered automatically.

Do all tests required by selected AUTO Test following the same procedure
as for the first test.

Press the “END” menu key after finishing all tests, display turns to “check”
mode, you may check all sub-results by using the “
” and

”menu
keys.

During the AUTO Test procedure the following menu keys can be offered:
BACK
After pressing the “BACK” menu key the tester will move back to
previous test (for example from R
ISO
to R
PE
test).
NEXT
After pressing the “NEXT” menu key the tester will move to the next
test (for example from R
PE
to R
ISO
test).
END
After pressing the “END” menu key the tester will end the AUTO Test
procedure and move to “check” mode. After pressing the “END” menu
key operator may check all sub-results by using the “
” and

keys.
