Brewing Coffee with a Preset Time
You have the option of setting a preset time so that the coffee is freshly prepared at the time
you want.
To make coffee with a preset time, the clock needs to be set (see the “Handling and
Operation” chapter – “Time”).
1. Perform steps 1 – 8 from the “Brewing Coffee” section.
2. Turn the rotary knob (

) to the position
Program.

3. Use

) to set the hours.
4. Press

) to switch to the minutes display. The minutes display

5. Use

buttons to set the minutes.
6. Press
the button to con

rm the set start time.
7. Press
the button again to activate the preset time. On the display (

),
PROG
is shown
constantly and the preset time is active.
Please Note:
As long as the preset time is activated, you cannot make any further settings
or use other functions.
8. Press
the button again to deactivate the preset time. The
PROG
display goes out and
the preset time is no longer active.
The preset time remains stored until a new desired time is set. To reactivate the desired
time which is stored, turn the rotary knob to the
Program
position and wait until the
hours stop
fl
ashing. Then press the
button to activate the preset time.
Boiling Water
You can individually set the temperature to which the water is heated in the
Water
program.
You can choose a temperature of between 32 and 100 °C.
1. Fill the water tank (

) with water (see the “Preparation” chapter – “Filling the Water
Tank”).

The carafe has a useful volume of no more than 750 ml! It must not be
over

lled!
2. Place the carafe (

lter cone (

) in the main device (

3. Turn the rotary knob (

An indication of the temperature appears
on the display (

) to set the temperature you want. The selected tempera-
ture is shown on the display and is automatically active.
