GENERAL FITTING GUIDE
for BOTTLE TRAPS

When installing or using tools, extra care must be taken to avoid damaging the finish or fitting.
To maintain the appearance, please ensure it is cleaned regularly using a clean soft damp cloth
only. Abrasive cleaners or detergents must not be used as they may cause surface deterioration.
The company provides a guarantee against faulty material or manufacture excluding serviceable
parts, providing they have been installed, cared for and used in accordance with our instructions.

The company will not accept any liability regarding specification changes and their consequences
unless previously quoted by the company in writing.

Assemble knurled nut (B) onto the plated metal tube (C) under the top flange with the wide
end facing upwards to receive the waste assembly. Slide the second knurled nut (D) onto the
plated metal tube (C) ensuring the wide end is facing down.

Push the plastic sleeve (E) into the top of the bottle trap main body (F) ensuring the lip seats on
the neck of the trap. Insert the metal tube (C) into the centre of the plastic sleeve and lock the
knurled nut (D) firmly into position.

This trap is designed to connect to a standard 1.1/4" metal waste outlet pipe (I).
Slide the knurled nut (H) and tapered washer (G) over the waste pipe and tighten the nut.

When fitted onto the basin waste outlet the washer (A) must be placed inside the knurled nut
to form a seal between the trap and waste.
