BALLS NOT RELEASING
Balls are not
being released
or are always
coming down.
Ball gate should
move down to
home position at
power on.
If ball gate is
operating
backward, then
check wires as
noted above.
Mechanical issue causing
ball gate to stick.
Check for voltage at
Actuator driver board
Check for voltage on cable
CE7422
Check for voltage on cable
CE7421
Faulty wire or connection.
Check for free movement of assembly with actuator not
attached. To access actuator, refer to: How Access
Display, Spotlights, and Actuator
Cable CE7405 should have +12 VDC at all times.
Enter Diagnostic Menu -
(Button A lowers bar, Button B raises bar)
Check voltage on CE7422 into actuator driver board:
It should be –3 VDC when bar is moving up.
It should be +3 VDC when bar is moving down.
Enter Diagnostic Menu -
(Button A lowers bar, Button B raises bar)
Check voltage on CE7421 from actuator driver board:
Black meter lead on brown wire, red meter lead on blue
wire. This cable must be plugged in for reading to be
accurate.
It should be –12 VDC when bar is moving up and held.
It should be +12 VDC when bar is moving down and held
Check for proper
connection on CE7421 cable molex plug
underneath cabinet. Check continuity.
