1.4 Guarding

1. This unit contains electrical components and moving parts.

These components, and the surrounding system pipework, operate at high temperatures. Where young
children or animals are concerned, Baxi recommend a barrier or guard to avoid tampering. The guard
must be of a suitable design and not restrict the air flow through the unit. A risk assessment MUST be
carried out prior to installing the unit.

NOTE: A guard is available from Baxi as an accessory if required.

The Baxi Ambiflo

™

air source heat pump unit includes an integral circulation pump (3 speed to optimise

comfort and efficiency), small expansion vessel, pressure gauge and pressure relief valve. An additional
expansion vessel may be required.
