Target area guidelines
Generally it is desirable that the sensor picks up only wanted objects. If objects in the back-
ground cannot be avoided the insertion of shields is recommended. As a rule of thumb a shield
angle larger than approx. the total opening angle (e.g. >10°) is recommended. Multi-path re-
flections may need to be considered.

Wanted objects should always be kept at a minimum distance of at least the specified blind
range. For best accuracy 400mm should be considered.
