Special notice
If the device is not responding: Long press the power button for 8 seconds to
power off the device, then press again to turn back on.
Firmware reset
This procedure will completely reset the tablet and remove all user created,
downloaded and installed files and data, along with any lock screen
password.
NOTE: This procedure cannot be reversed.
Before commencing, ensure you have charged the tablet for at least 1 hour.
1. Dissconnect all cables (including the charger) and eject any SD cards.
2. Turn off the tablet. Once off, the status light should also be off.
3. Gently press down at the same time (and continue to hold) both the
Power button and the Volume down ( - ) button.
4. After a few moments you may see the BAUHN logo, continue holding the
buttons. After several seconds the unit will display a menu in blue text.
When you see this text, release both buttons.
5. Press the Volume down ( - ) button twice so the option “wipe data/factory
reset” is highlighted.
6. Press the Power button once.
7. Press the Volume down ( - ) button 7 times so the option “Yes -- delete all
user data” is highlighted.
8. Press the Power button once, and the reset procedure will start. This will
normally only take a few moments and will display the message “Data
wipe complete” in yellow text once finished.
9. Confirm that the option “reboot system now” is highlighted, then press
the Power button once.
10. The reset is now finished. The tablet will reboot and will be ready to set
up and configure to your needs.
