HDMI output
You can display the screen contents of your MID on a TV using the mini HDMI
output connection.
1. Using a ‘Mini HDMI to HDMI’ cable, attach the MID to the HDMI socket of
your TV.
2. Turn on your TV and select the HDMI input.
3. Turn on your MID.
4. After your MID starts up you will see one of these two notifications
informing you that the MID is connected to your TV.
5. Open the applications list and click
.
6. Select the output resolution you would like from ‘HDMI 720p’ or ‘HDMI 1080p’.
7. The MID screen will now turn off and you can see the display on your TV.
Use the MID screen as a touch pad to control the pointer on the TV screen.
8. To switch back to using your MID screen, repeat steps 5 and 6 above and
select “PANEL”.
NOTE: Always unplug the HDMI or USB adaptor cable when not in use to
avoid accidental damage to the connectors.
