Buttons
There are 3 buttons located on the side of the tablet that allow you to turn the
tablet on/off and adjust the volume level.
To use, gently press the desired button. You will feel a soft click.
Switch on/off the device
Power button
• Long press to turn on.
• When in power-on state, press to turn on or off the screen.
• When in power-on state, long press to display the Power Off menu.
• When in power-on state, press and hold this button for 8 seconds, to turn
off the device directly without displaying the Power Off menu.
Switch on
• While in power-off state, press the power button for 2 seconds and the
device will start up.
Switch off
• Press the power button for 2 seconds, you will see an options list.
• Choose to switch off the device.
Turn on/off the screen
The screen will automatically turn off when in idle time
• After a period of inactivity the screen will automatically turn off to save
battery power. This can be set using the ‘Sleep’ setting from the Display
menu in the device settings menu.
• If after a long time in sleep state the screen does not turn on, long press the
power button to turn off. Then press the power button to turn on again.
Turn on the screen
If the screen is off, press the power button to turn it back on.
