a) Lifting
1. Secure the vehicle against rolling away using stop blocks or the like and by pulling the
emergency brake.
2. Position the lift saddle (1) correctly beneath the vehicle. Position the lift saddle directly
beneath the correct lifting position of the vehicle. Position the lifting device at the right lifting
position only. Refer to the user manual of your vehicle for more information.
3. Turn the valve (6) on the lifting assembly (5) all the way clockwise (to the right). Insert the
pump piston lever (3) into the lever holding fixture (7) (the small bolt must face upward).
4. Pump up the jack and make sure that the saddle is positioned correctly beneath the vehicle.
Position the jack so that you do not need to reach underneath the vehicle
during use. The jack should not be slanted.
b) Lowering
1. Carefully turn the valve on the lifting assembly counter-clockwise (to the left) using the pump
piston lever.
2. The pressure decreases and the jack lowers.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Lower the hydraulic unit and lifting arm fully when the jack is no longer in use. This shields the
surfaces of all precision parts in the hydraulic unit against corrosion.
• Keep the jack and its moving parts such as the lifting arm spindle, wheel bearing and pitch
axis clean and well oiled. Use high-quality machine oil to grease the lifting arm spindle
uptakes. Remove any filth and grease these parts once every 3 months.
• To shield the product against corrosion, rub the piston and lifting arm once every 3 months
with a greased cloth.
• Store the jack at a clean, dry location shielded from sunlight.
