Adjustment of the Leakage Needle Valve
The leakage needle valve integrated in the purge valve can be adjusted at any time to the quantity required to compensate
for the leakage losses. The factory setting is: 15 l/min., at 2 bar input pressure.
To alter the leakage air quantity, the adjusting screw which is accessible through the purging-air nozzle must first be closed
in a clockwise direction with the aid of a suitable screwdriver.
Then the necessary leakage air quantity is adjusted by turning to the required value.
The curve given in the table shows the passage of the air leakage quantity depending on the turns.
After completing the adjustment, the enclosure’s overpressure during operation should be between 2 and 3 mbar.
