Caution
Measure the pressure with the positive
rotation.
Open the gauge valve of the hydraulic
pressure measurement tool.
Start the engine, and rev it up to the
maximum rpm.
It is normal if the pressure is 13.7 MPa (140
kgf/cm
2
) (1,987 psi) when you set the reel
rotation switch to "ON."
Adjustment
Adjustment of Raising Speed of Mower
Unit
The mower unit up/down circuit includes a slow
return valve.
This enables adjustment of the raising speed of
the mower unit.
Warning
Make sure that there are no people around
the machine.
Apply the parking brake.
Remove the rear cover.
Start the engine.
Move the stop valve to the "Open" side.
Lower the mower unit.
Important
If the raising speed of the mower unit is too
fast, the shock that the mower unit is
subjected when it hits the stopper increases,
and may result in damage to the machine.
Follow the steps below to adjust the slow
return valve.
Loosen the hollow screw of the slow return
valve.
Rev the engine up to the maximum speed.
Move the up/down lever to the up side to
raise the mower unit.
Turn the slow return valve dial and adjust
the speed that the mower unit rises.
Raising speed too slow:
Turn the slow return valve dial counter-
clockwise.

clockwise.
Tighten the hollow screw.
