Before starting pressure measurement, make
sure that there are no people around the
machine.
Caution
Use a pressure gauge and hydraulic hose
which can withstand the pressure of 6.9 MPa
(70 kgf/cm
2
) (1,001 psi) or more.
Before pressure measurement, perform the
following operations.
Install the gauge bulb and high-pressure
hose to the pressure gauge for low
pressure measurements.

Remove the steering cylinder shrinking side
hydraulic hose.

Install branched joint 1/4 between the
removed shrinking side hydraulic hose and
steering cylinder.

Install the hydraulic pressure measurement
tool to branched joint 1/4 installed to the
steering cylinder.

Pressure gauge for low pressure
measurements

High pressure hose
Apply the parking brake.
Open the gauge valve of the hydraulic
pressure measurement tool.
Start the engine, and rev it up to the
maximum rpm.
It is normal if the pressure is 6.9 MPa (70
kgf/cm
2
) (1,001 psi) when turning the
steering wheel toward the left to the
maximum extent.
