Maintenance Precautions
● Gain full knowledge of the maintenance operations before performing them.
● Perform maintenance operations with the machine placed on a dry
and clean flat area.
● Do not refuel or perform maintenance operations while the machine is
in operation.
● Keep your hands and feet away from driving or moving parts. Be care
-
ful that your hands and feet are not caught by driving or moving parts
while maintenance operations are performed.
● Disengage all driving parts, and adjust all controls to release pressure.
● Make sure all parts are in good condition and properly installed.
● If operations are performed with units, such as the bucket, raised, make sure
they are safely and securely supported.
● If any parts are damaged, repair or replace them immediately.
● Be sure to replace worn and damaged parts.
● Do not modify the machine. Use genuine parts for maintenance and repair
needs to ensure safe operation.
● Remove dirt, grease and oil on all surfaces.
● Before performing maintenance on the electrical system, be sure to disconnect
the negative (-) battery cable.

Preventing Injuries Caused by High-Pressure Oil
● High-pressure oil spraying onto skin will cause serious injuries.
● Release the pressure before removing high-pressure lines, hoses or
couplings.
● Before starting the machine, make sure that all couplings are tightened.
● Use small, thick paper to test for oil leaks. If high-pressure oil is sprayed
onto skin, be sure to seek medical treatment within 2 to 3 hours.
